Anna Kendrick, an American actress nominated to win the Academy Award, is best known as a leading role in Twilight. The actress began her acting career when she was a child on the stage in the hit Broadway production of High Society. The show won her an award called the Theatre World Award in recognition of her performance. Then she performed in a second role in the New York City Opera's production A Little Night Music by Stephen Sondheim. Then, she branched out into the world of film, and was recognized in the field of film acting following her performance in the romantic comedy film Twilight in which she was the most trusted friend of the protagonist. She reprised her role as the character's best friend in The Twilight Saga: New Moon. In episodes of Fear Itself, Comedy Bang! as well as other shows, she's been on TV. Bang! Singer, too. Anna Kendrick sang a cover of the hit song Cups for the soundtrack of the movie Pitch Perfect, appearing in the music video too. The song reached the top spot at No. 6 on the US Billboard 100.
